Position Overview
Oxford’s Department of Experimental Psychology seeks a highly motivated PDRA to join a research program investigating the neural basis of memory and cognition. The project uses cutting-edge neuroimaging, electrophysiology, and behavioral paradigms to understand how the brain encodes, stores, and retrieves information. This position offers the chance to contribute to fundamental discoveries in cognitive neuroscience while benefiting from Oxford’s world-class research facilities.
* PhD in neuroscience, psychology, or related discipline.
* Strong publication record in cognitive or systems neuroscience.
* Experience in human or animal studies of brain function.
* Familiarity with neuroimaging techniques (fMRI, EEG/MEG) or electrophysiology.
* Skills in data analysis (MATLAB, Python, or R).
* Strong quantitative background and ability to design behavioral experiments.
£37,000 – £43,000 per annum, plus full University benefits.
