Field Service Engineer
Locations: Southeast England - Based in Slough, Oxford, Reading, Woking, Guildford, Crawley or surrounding areas
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum + Door to door paid travel
On-Target Earnings (OTE): £45,000+
Are you a skilled Service Technician with a strong electrical or mechanical background? Do you enjoy working on a wide range of equipment and delivering high-quality service? We are recruiting experienced engineers to join a market-leading manufacturer whose service team is renowned for supporting household-name clients with fault-finding, repairs, maintenance, and technical support.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide electrical and mechanical support, predominantly on dock levellers and specialist loading bay equipment.
* Assist with installations when necessary.
* Participate in an occasional on-call rota and responsibly manage company tools, vehicle, and stock.
* Promote sales of maintenance services and equipment, including spare parts, and advise sales department of possible sales leads.
Requirements
Experience & Qualifications
* Experience in field service or other relevant electrical or mechanical engineering.
* Strong mechanical or electrical fault-finding skills.
* Experience with lifting equipment or similar (desirable).
* Welding experience (desirable).
* Valid certifications:
o Electrical qualifications, or relevant experience.
o Mechanical qualifications or relevant experience.
