Admin Assistant
Location: Ongar CM5 9AA

Vacancy Type: Permanent, Hours Monday - Friday 8-4pm
Our client is a Building Maintenance company based in Ongar, Essex.
They are looking for a motivated and organised Administrative Assistant to join their team.
The Role
You will play a key role in keeping the office running smoothly - supporting staff, managing paperwork, and ensuring the day - to day operations are handled efficiently.
Experience in the Construction Industry would be an advantage, but training will be given.
Key Responsibilities
* Answering the phone and responding to emails daily
* Dealing with suppliers
* Scheduling appointments with tenants and clients
* Invoicing
* Typing up quotes
* Logging Jobs
* Going on the council portals and securing work
* Arranging permits for vehicles
* Liaising with subcontractors and suppliers
Skills and Experience
* Previous experience in an administrative or office support role (Essential)
* Excellent communication skills
* Excellent organisational skills
* Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
* Attention to detail and ability to multitask
* Positive proactive and reliable attitude
* Must be a good team player and be able to work in a team as well as working confidently on their own when needed
* Able to prioritise tasks and work and work to deadlines
* Strong communication skills along with good written and verbal skills
