We are currently recruiting for a Full Stack Developer to join a leading organisation on a contract basis. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a high-impact greenfield project, modernising legacy systems using cutting-edge technologies.
The Role
You will play a key role in the redesign and redevelopment of legacy in-house applications, while also supporting existing systems during the transition period.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Leading full-stack development on a greenfield application rewrite
2. Supporting and maintaining legacy applications
3. Collaborating with stakeholders to gather and refine business requirements
4. Designing and managing MS SQL Server databases
5. Developing integrations with internal corporate systems
6. Providing bug fixes, user support, and change management
7. Producing and maintaining technical documentation
8. Ensuring adherence to internal development standards and governance
Cyber Security Focus
9. Work closely with central teams to identify and resolve web application vulnerabilities
10. Manage and prioritise security remediation activities
11. Contribute to improving cyber security awareness and best practices
Key Skills & Experience
12. Strong experience with:
Java / Kotlin
Spring Boot
React, JavaScript, CSS
13. Solid experience with:
MS SQL Server (database design & development)
Git / Azure DevOps
Development tools such as IntelliJ
14. Proven track record delivering web-based or intranet solutions
15. Experience working in Agile environments
16. Strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle
