Role Description
We are looking for a mechatronics engineer with an electronics bias.
You will provide technical support to shift equipment engineers covering all areas of silicon wafer processing equipment, packaging, and testing. Lead and participate in equipment installations, improvements, and resolve underlying equipment issues. This equipment is housed within three clean areas requiring full gowning.
This is a multi-disciplined role where you will work hands-on and gain experience with gases, chemicals, robotics, vacuum, electrical, and electronics.

Role Details
There is a requirement to wear self-contained breathing apparatus after passing a medical and receiving training.
Due to cleanroom working conditions, the wearing of makeup is not allowed, and smoking is prohibited 4 hours before entering the cleanroom (non-smokers preferred).
Responsibilities
* Project work, installing new equipment, and equipment modifications. Providing all necessary documentation and training to others.
* Respond rapidly to equipment issues, ensuring timely repairs, and providing clear progress updates to production teams. Lead cross-functional teams within Teledyne and external engineers, recording actions and minutes for complex issues.
* Responsible for producing all risk assessments for equipment. Host and control contractor reviews of their method statements and risk assessments, issuing permits to work.
Experience and Qualifications
* Experience in a multi-disciplined role with strong electronics skills. Educated with a minimum of HNC in electronics.
