Stobart is recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers for their Rail (Containers) and Bulk Mixer (Tanker) operations in Rugby.
Job Description
The Rail work involves moving curtain-sided containers in and out of ESL rail terminals across the UK, including loading and unloading at customer sites. Skeletal trailer and curtain-sided box training will be provided.
The Bulk Mixer operation involves loading liquid yeast from Felixstowe, transporting tankers to Rugby and Carlisle, primarily trunking between these locations.
Shifts on Rail Operation
* Monday-Friday Days from 06:00am / Nights from 18:00pm.
* Sunday-Thursday Days from 06:00am.
Shifts on Bulk Mixer Operation
* Sunday-Thursday from 06:00am.
* Monday-Friday Nights from 18:00pm.
Salary
* Mon-Fri Days - £14.50/hour (Meal allowance and Tier Payment included).
* Mon-Fri Night - £15.90/hour (Meal allowance and Tier Payment included).
* Weekend Day - £18.00/hour (Meal allowance and Tier Payment included).
* Weekend Night - £18.50/hour (Meal allowance and Tier Payment included).
* Bank Holidays - £18.81/hour (Meal allowance and Tier Payment included).
Qualifications
* At least 6 months Class 1 experience.
* Valid HGV 1/C+E Licence, DCPC & Tacho Card.
* No more than 6 points on your Licence, no DD/DR convictions.
* Understanding of Driver's hours and WTD legislation.
* Ability to perform vehicle checks and report defects.
* Compliance with health and safety requirements.
* Excellent communication skills.
