Job Overview
ABM UK is seeking vigilant and professional Security Officers to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, visitors, and employees. Your responsibilities include patrolling designated areas, monitoring security systems, and responding promptly to incidents or emergencies.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct regular patrols of premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or hazards.
* Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security.
* Operate and monitor security equipment such as CCTV systems and alarms.
* Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Provide excellent customer service and assist visitors as needed.
* Report any suspicious activities, incidents, or breaches to the appropriate authorities.
Qualifications
* Valid SIA Security Guard licence is essential.
* Previous experience in a security role is preferred.
* Excellent communication and observational skills.
* Ability to remain calm and composed in emergency situations.
* Reliable, trustworthy, and professional attitude.
* Good physical fitness to perform patrols and respond to incidents.
* Flexibility to work various shifts as required.
* Strong customer service skills.
