An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and innovative individual to provide expert clinical knowledge and skills with the urology cancer nursing service, within the Surgical Directorate. We are seeking a highly motivated individual who will embrace this exciting and rewarding role.
You will play an integral role in the management and delivery of cancer care. You will manage, deliver, advise on and support the care for people with a urology cancer diagnosis to maintain high patient experience and outcomes.
You will ensure the urology cancer patients journey is a smooth experience and adheres to Scottish Government target times including the coordination and delivery of treatment, surveillance and disease management. Maintaining excellent communication between patients, relatives, nurses and oncology teams. You will signpost patients and carers to the relevant source of support and information appropriate to their needs and deliver treatment across 4 NHS Fife sites and home visits and liaise with all members of the multi- disciplinary team .
You will demonstrate excellent organisational skills, be flexible in approach, able to exercise initiative and demonstrate a consistently high standard of professionalism, being aware of the need for confidentiality and integrity.
