Job Description: Field Compliance Supervisor
Telent is looking for three Field Compliance Supervisors to join the Network Services Infrastructure team. This role involves working on the OSA (Openreach Services Agreement) framework contract, primarily in London and the Inner M25 region. Candidates must hold a full UK driving license and be based in or able to travel within this region. The supervisor may need to attend meetings at a Telent office as required.
The main responsibility is to ensure the delivery of OSA framework commitments in their designated area, coordinating with subcontractors and partners. This includes resource confirmation, issue resolution, and managing potential jeopardy. You will oversee all on-site work to meet KPIs and SLAs.
You will support Telent's contractors and subcontractors to meet safety, compliance, and quality standards, including conducting audits and inspections as per the Infrastructure Services guidelines.
As a Telent ambassador, you will facilitate contract delivery by resolving access and operational issues, supporting the scheduling of work, and ensuring smooth project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support contractual delivery requirements
* Develop and improve compliance policies
* Ensure daily presence of the required gangs and work attendance
* Prioritize safety and ensure proper documentation
* Monitor quality and compliance with standards
* Build relationships with suppliers and authorities
* Resolve access issues and manage permissions
* Participate in joint site meetings
* Respond to safety issues and defects promptly
* Conduct compliance audits
* Oversee site safety standards and permissions
* Assist in training operatives
* Collaborate with suppliers on issue resolution and temporary works
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate has experience supervising civils, poling, or cable gangs in telecoms or construction, with strong safety and quality management skills. Certifications like NRSWA Supervisor Level and SA001A are required. A full UK driving license is essential, and knowledge of environmental legislation and survey assessments is desirable. IOSH Managing Safely certification should be obtained within three months of employment. Flexibility for overtime is expected.
