We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering / Mechatronics Teacher to join our Construction and Engineering Faculty at Bracknell and Wokingham College. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of high-quality teaching, learning and assessment across Levels 1, 2 and 3 Electrical Engineering and Mechatronics programmes. Our faculty has an excellent track record of delivering vocational programmes with employability at their core. With strong industry links and a teaching team made up of experienced professionals. We deliver well-established, highly successful and professionally accredited Electrical Engineering courses that support learners to progress into employment. This is a part-time, permanent role, working three days per week (Monday, Thursday and Friday), based at our Bracknell and Wokingham campus. About the role As an Electrical Engineering / Mechatronics Teacher, you will: Deliver engaging and effective teaching across Levels 1-3 programmes Plan and assess learning in line with awarding body and college requirements Support learners to develop both technical competence and workplace behaviours Act as a positive role model, inspiring learners to achieve their full potential Contribute to the continued development of the Engineering curriculum What do you need to be a successful Electrical Engineering / Mechatronics Teacher at Activate Learning? Essential requirements: A Level 3 or higher qualification in Electrical Engineering and/or Mechatronics Relevant industry experience within Electrical Engineering and/or Mechatronics GCSEs at Grade 4/C or equivalent in Maths and English Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills The ability to engage, motivate and support learners with differing needs Teaching qualification and/or previous teaching experience (Desirable) We welcome applications from industry professionals who are new to teaching.
