* Support and develop the expertise of the Art teaching team.
* Ensure the curriculum remains relevant, engaging, and challenging, reflecting contemporary artistic trends.
* Maintain excellent standards of teaching, learning, and assessment in Art.
* Contribute positively to the wider life of the school, including showcasing student artwork.

Qualifications & Experience:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Degree in Fine Art or a related subject.
* Significant experience teaching Art at secondary level, with demonstrable leadership experience in a successful department.
* Proven ability to lead and manage a team of creative practitioners effectively.
* Strong understanding of curriculum development and assessment in Art.
* Excellent communication, organizational, and strategic thinking skills.
