About the Role – Customer Service Faults & Emergencies Contact Team Member When customers call with a fault, outage or urgent issue, you’re the first person they speak to. Your ability to stay calm, reassure people, and take control makes a real impact — especially during storms and high‑pressure events. This role suits people who: Are customer focused, strong call handlers, communicating clearly and confidently Have excellent PC skills and can navigate multiple systems with ease Remain composed under pressure Are self‑starters who take initiative Work confidently both independently and within a close‑knit team In between calls, you’ll complete infill work to help keep everything running smoothly. What You’ll Be Doing Handling inbound and outbound calls calmly and professionally Reassuring customers and accurately logging incidents across multiple systems Providing updates and coordinating with engineers Supporting vulnerable customers with extra care Making proactive wellbeing calls when needed Completing infill tasks between emergency calls Shifts & Salary Full‑Time Roles Our full‑time shift pattern offers regular 3–4 day breaks, giving you significantly more time off than traditional shift patterns. It’s mainly overnight work, with a small mix of AM, mid‑morning (10:00), PM and evening shifts for added variety — all within a stable cycle you can plan around. Part‑Time Roles (Weekend‑Only) If you prefer a focused schedule, we also offer weekend‑only part‑time roles, ideal for those who want consistency without weekday commitments.
