Equans is looking for a Caretaker to join our team working in Blackburn Central High School, BB2 3HJ. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £24,.50 per annum and benefits package.
Shift times
Monday to Friday
2 week rota
Week 1 06:00- 14:00. 30 minute unpaid break.
Week 2 14:00-22:00. 30 minute unpaid break.
For this role you must undergo an Enhanced DBS clearance therefore ability to pass is essential.
What will you deliver?
Responsible for the day-to-day management of the school premises with respect to caretaking services, together with establishing a close working relationship with the school and community groups. Ensure that all services are provided to a consistently high standard. Assist the Area Supervisor in meeting the requirements of the Project Agreement

Who are we looking for?
Experience of providing general cleaning and security duties and basic maintenance of buildings and associated plant and systems
Experience of supervising the work of others
Experience of caretaking within an educational environment
GCSE / O Level Mathematics and English or equivalent
Relevant trade or vocational qualification
