Contract Type: Full-Time, Temporary

Are you a graduate who has completed your degree within the last 5 years and is considering a career in teaching or education?

Milk Education is looking for enthusiastic and motivated graduates to work as Teaching Assistants across a range of primary schools in South Manchester, Trafford and Stockport from September.

This is an excellent opportunity for graduates who are looking to gain valuable classroom experience before pursuing teacher training, a PGCE, Schools Direct, or a long-term career within education. We work with a variety of welcoming and supportive schools that can provide hands-on experience supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.

Whether you’re looking for a long-term placement or want to build experience across different school settings, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils’ learning on a one-to-one basis, in small groups and within the classroom
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and learning activities
  • Help create a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment
  • Support pupils with varying learning needs, including those with SEND
  • Encourage pupil engagement, confidence and academic progress
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents where appropriate
  • Support classroom management and behaviour expectations

    • What We’re Looking For:

  • Must have graduated within the last 5 years (all degree subjects considered)
  • A genuine interest in pursuing a career within education or teaching
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A positive, proactive and adaptable attitude
  • Experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential
  • Ability to build positive relationships and work effectively as part of a team
  • A willingness to learn and develop within a school environment
