We require highly motivated individuals to cover our reception areas within various health centres across Falkirk. The successful candidates will provide a reception service as well as providing administrative support for Community Admin and Nursing Staff.
You should have an excellent telephone manner and considerable experience in dealing with the general public in a face-to-face situation, communicating effectively with a wide range of people. Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills are also required.
A team player with a flexible approach to work is essential as is the ability to prioritise your workload around the demands of a busy reception area and administration department.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and experience of office procedures are essential. Previous NHS experience desirable.
In order to meet the needs of the service, the successful applicants will be required to work in a variety of locations when necessary and may be required to provide additional cover during periods of annual leave and/or sickness.
The successful candidates must have relevant general office experience and be educated to standard grade or equivalent in Secretarial Studies/English/Arithmetic.
Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential for these posts.
The duties of this post require the successful candidate to complete a Standard Police Act Disclosure Scotland Check.
