Role Overview
Store Manager – Raunds
Salary: £31,000 plus bonus potential
Hours: 40 hours per week, various shifts including weekends
Reporting to the Retail Operations Manager, the Store Manager will drive growth within the company‑owned store, foster a positive workplace and align operational strategies with company objectives.
Responsibilities
* Team Leadership:
o Recruit, train and develop a high‑performing team focused on customer service.
o Foster a positive, collaborative environment and celebrate colleague successes.
* Operational Excellence:
o Manage day‑to‑day operations – inventory, merchandising and stock control.
o Implement visual merchandising standards to enhance shopping experience.
* Customer Engagement:
o Build strong customer relationships, understanding needs and preferences.
o Implement service strategies to improve satisfaction and loyalty.
* Sales & Performance:
o Set and achieve sales targets, drive initiatives to increase revenue and profitability.
o Analyse sales reports and trends to identify improvement opportunities.
* Community Involvement:
o Participate in local community events and initiatives to strengthen ties with Raunds.
o Seek partnerships and collaborations for community wellbeing.
* Financial Management:
o Manage budgets, expenses and financial reporting to keep the store within parameters.
Required Skills & Experience
* Proven retail management experience, successfully achieving sales targets.
* Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with ability to motivate diverse teams.
* Excellent communication and ability to build positive relationships with customers and the local community.
* Knowledge of inventory and merchandising operations.
* Analytical ability to use data for decision‑making.
* Passion for community engagement and a commitment to making a positive impact in Raunds.

Additional Information
UK driving licence preferred – travel to other stores may be required.
Candidate must be willing to undergo Post Office financial vetting.
