Financial Planner
Guildford/ hybrid
Salary - £65,000 - £75,000
The role of the Financial Adviser is to provide clients with financial guidance and make recommendations on how to best utilise their capital, using the firm’s agreed policies, processes, and toolset.
The Financial Adviser reports to the relevant Financial Planning Manager within the business.

* Financial Planning – able to deliver high-quality financial planning, demonstrating strong technical knowledge to ensure the best client outcomes.
* Quality of reviews – strong KYC and relationship management skills, with the ability to follow processes and complete client reviews within a 12-month rolling cycle; maintains up-to-date knowledge of products, procedures, and regulation.
* Teamwork and conduct – works proactively to support colleagues, demonstrating professionalism in conduct, presentation, and attitude.
* Workload management – able to prioritise effectively, balancing client meetings while maintaining strong communication and relationships.

Responsibilities
* Produce complex business cases in a timely and efficient manner.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records following each interaction, in line with internal processes.
* Adhere to all internal procedures, including compliance, service schedules, and charging structures.
* Maintain knowledge and competence in internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
* Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support business growth.
* Ensure clients receive up-to-date advice by applying central investment and review processes where appropriate.
* Conduct all client reviews within a 12-month rolling cycle to the required standard.
* Support administration teams by providing timely and accurate information.
Other Obligations
* Maintain competent adviser status in line with FCA requirements.
* Complete all mandatory and regulatory training within required timeframes.
* Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
* Ensure secure handling and storage of all client documentation at all times.
