🌍 About the Role
We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Portfolio Executive – Energy to support the management and optimisation of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) ⚡ and High Voltage (HV) infrastructure 🔌.
Working closely with the Portfolio Lead, you’ll help drive asset performance, compliance, and operational excellence across a growing energy transition portfolio. This is a fantastic opportunity to work at the forefront of sustainable infrastructure 🌱.
* Support the performance and maintenance of BESS and HV assets alongside Technical Asset Managers (TAMs).
* Monitor KPIs, identify optimisation opportunities, and support long-term asset strategies 📈.
* Manage OEM and Long-Term Service Agreements (LTSAs), ensuring strong performance and compliance.
* Assist with technical due diligence, refurbishment projects, budgeting, and reporting.
🤝 Stakeholder & Operational Support
* Build strong relationships with OEMs, contractors, DNOs/TSOs, and internal teams.
* Support O&M agreements, Capacity Market obligations, and Grid Code compliance ✅.
* Conduct site visits to oversee asset condition and operational performance 🏗️.
* Assist with governance reporting, incident management, and risk tracking.
* Support digitalisation and process improvement initiatives.
* Represent the team at workshops, conferences, and industry events ✨.
* Occasionally travel to asset sites and contractor locations ✈️.
* 3+ years’ experience in asset management or technical energy roles.
* Exposure to BESS, renewables, HV infrastructure, or DNO/TSO operations.
* Strong communication, stakeholder management, and organisational skills.
* Ability to balance strategic thinking with day-to-day operational delivery.
* Comfortable using digital tools and asset management systems 💻.
* Knowledge of HV/grid-connected assets, SCADA systems, or Capacity Market operations.
* Experience in O&M oversight or energy transition projects.
