Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking CSCS Labourer to join our team on-site. The ideal candidate will possess a valid CSCS card and have a strong commitment to safety and quality work. This role is essential in supporting various construction activities, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
Duties
1. Assist with the preparation and clearing of construction sites, including the removal of debris and hazardous materials.
2. Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment as required for ongoing projects.
3. Follow instructions from site supervisors and assist tradespeople in their tasks.
4. Maintain a clean and organised work environment to promote safety on-site.
5. Operate basic hand tools and machinery under supervision when necessary.
6. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring compliance with site policies.
Qualifications
7. Valid CSCS card is essential for this role.
8. Full UK Driving licence essential
9. Previous experience in a labouring or construction role is advantageous but not mandatory.
10. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
11. Strong communication skills to follow instructions and report issues promptly.
12. Physical fitness to handle manual tasks, including lifting heavy objects.
13. A proactive approach to health and safety practices on-site.
14. Flexible to work overtime both during the week and at weekends, dependant on needs of construction projects.
15. Nights out may also be required dependant upon location of projects.
