What you will be doing
* To be an expert advisor and to ensure operational execution in SCM locker operations across the Northern Region, ensuring outsourced performance targets are met, customer experience is exceptional, third-party relationships are effectively managed, and cost efficiency is continuously improved.
* To advise and to ensure completion of the final-mile locker transport and reverse logistics activities, collaborating with teams across multiple countries and contributing as an influential member of relevant Centers of Excellence (CoEs).
* Manage end-to-end locker reverse logistics processes, from receipt at forwarder to final destination (e.g., refurbishment, or recycling).
* Champion process harmonisation across operating companies, introducing standardised tools and automation to improve efficiency and consistency.
* Lead continuous improvement initiatives, sponsoring transport and locker-related projects aligned with regional strategic objectives.
* Assess regional impacts of related activities and escalate key areas to the Transport and Reverse Logistics Manager Northern Europe to ensure alignment with broader supply chain goals.
* Ensure compliance with local regulations, working with Legal, Risk, and Compliance teams, and maintaining accurate documentation in supplier management tools.
* Oversee annual stock counts at final-mile locker hubs, reporting results and driving improvement actions where needed.
* Manage delivery of Company orders to meet customer demand and maintain customer satisfaction by meeting agreed delivery dates.
* To effectively manage failure performance ensuring root causes are investigated and remedial action taken place to actively reduce % overall movement failures
* To manage the performance of the third-party logistics provider and take remedial action where necessary to ensure customer satisfaction.
You will ideally have
* Proven experience in 3PL governance, contract management, and SLA/KPI design and enforcement.
* Financial acumen (invoice validation, variance analysis, cost control, transformation savings).
* Proven escalation management and CAPA delivery in complex operational environments.
* Project management skills; familiarity with automation design and enterprise platform integrations (e.g., SHARE).
* Operational experience with process harmonisation and standardisation across multiple OpCos.
* Stakeholder engagement and communication: chairing MBRs/QBRs; influencing partners and internal teams.
* Commercial negotiation with 3PLs and technology providers; multi-carrier locker solutions knowledge.
* Data-driven decision-making; proficiency with analytics/BI tools; continuous improvement mindset.
* Desirable: Degree or equivalent experience; certifications (e.g., APM, Prince 2, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt).
