Overview

The Supported Living Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of supported living environments, ensuring that residents receive the highest quality of care and support. This position involves managing staff, developing care plans, and fostering a positive living environment for individuals with developmental disabilities, dementia, and other related needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in senior care and a passion for enhancing the lives of residents.

Responsibilities

* Oversee the daily operations of supported living facilities, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
* Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each resident's needs.
* Supervise and train staff members, fostering a collaborative team environment.
* Manage budgets and resources effectively to ensure optimal service delivery.
* Coordinate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for residents.
* Maintain accurate documentation related to resident care and facility operations.
* Conduct regular assessments of resident needs and adjust care plans accordingly.
* Ensure medication administration is performed safely and accurately by trained staff.
* Facilitate communication between residents, families, and staff to enhance community engagement.

Skills

* Experience in assisted living or nursing home settings is essential.
* Familiarity with working with individuals with developmental disabilities, including Alzheimer's and dementia care.
* Strong background in nursing or senior care management.
* Proven experience in developing care plans tailored to individual resident needs.
* Leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a diverse team.
* Knowledge of operations management within long-term care facilities.
* Financial acumen for effective budgeting and resource allocation.
* Excellent communication skills to interact positively with residents, families, and staff members.
* Previous experience in home & community care or group home settings is advantageous.
