Location: Flexible on location and office base with visits to all D&G offices as required.

We’re excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Compliance Specialist – Policy Framework & Governance to join our Risk & Compliance team.
This role is responsible for supporting the implementation and maintenance of the overall Compliance Framework, creating a Centre of Excellence to be applied across the Group. It contributes to ensuring that the business complies with applicable laws, regulations, and internal standards. It will manage and oversee compliance policies, procedures and key controls, ensuring these are communicated and embedded. The role supports ongoing maintenance, control, monitoring and reporting of practices including Whistleblowing, Conflicts of Interest, Gifts & Hospitality, Compliance Risks and Breach logs. It also supports the identification, design and delivery of business compliance training requirements.
Responsibilities
* Provide day-to-day compliance support to the business, answering regulatory or policy-related queries.
* Assist in identifying, assessing, and tracking compliance risks and issues.
* Participate in regulatory change reviews and assist in updating internal processes accordingly.
* Help maintain compliance registers, documentation, and reporting metrics.
* Deliver or support compliance training and awareness activities.
* Contribute to incident investigations and help ensure accurate and timely issue resolution.
* Collaborate with other control functions (Risk, Legal, Audit, Data Privacy) to ensure coordinated compliance management.
Skills and Experience Required
* Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and internal policy expectations to provide support and advice to the business.
* Comfortable in assisting in interpretation of laws, regulations, and rules that impact the company’s operations.
* Confident in supporting the drafting, review, and rollout of compliance policies and training materials.
* Gathers and analyses compliance data, contributing to reporting and risk insights.
* Lateral thinker with an ability to interpret and present solutions.
* Understanding of FCA Handbook including ICOBS, SYSC, PRIN, Consumer Duty, SMCR and COCON is essential.
* Understands Compliance Governance policies and frameworks in operation.
