About the Role
The Senior National Account Manager will be instrumental in driving profitable sales growth and category leadership with some of the UK’s leading retail partners. This is a pivotal role within our UK&I commercial team—offering the opportunity to shape strategic partnerships and bring the Crayola brand to even more families!
This is a high-impact, customer-facing role with full ownership of your account portfolio. You’ll lead the development and execution of strategic Joint Business Plans (JBPs), nurture strong partnerships, and ensure Crayola’s values and commercial goals are consistently delivered.
In this role, you will own the full P&L for your account base—managing volume, net sales, and gross profit targets while identifying opportunities for sustainable growth. You’ll lead strategic forecasting and performance analysis, proactively mitigate risk, and ensure seamless execution across key customer touchpoints. By leveraging insights and developing influential customer relationships, you will translate data into decisions that unlock value for both Crayola and its retail partners. As part of a high-performing commercial team, your ability to influence, collaborate cross-functionally, and drive forward Crayola’s brand ambitions in the value channel will be key to your success.
Key Responsibilities
* Shape and Lead Customer Strategies: Develop and implement impactful account plans aligned with Crayola’s strategic objectives, grounded in insight and collaboration.
* Full P&L accountability: Manage sales, profit, promotional investment and accurate forecasting across your customer base.
* Drive category leadership: Champion innovative and inclusive approaches to delivering customer solutions that drive shared value.
* Monitor performance and identify opportunities: Analyse key account performance, customer satisfaction levels, and key commercial metrics to fuel growth and proactively mitigate any risks.
* Deliver actionable business insights: Provide regular updates and commercial reporting to internal stakeholders, offering clear, strategic recommendations.
* Lead account-level planning: Build and execute annual operating plans that align with Crayola’s overarching strategic direction and goals.
* Champion cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with Category, Operations, Customer Service, Finance, and Marketing to ensure end-to-end excellence and a seamless customer journey.
* Forecasting and demand planning: Lead the forecasting process for your accounts, collaborating with supply chain and commercial teams to ensure alignment.
* Manage commercial terms and support negotiations: Ensure customers operate within agreed trading terms, and review and negotiate agreements to secure favourable terms for Crayola.
* Contribute to team development: Support knowledge sharing and play an active role in shaping a positive, inclusive and high-performing commercial team culture.
What we’re looking for
* Proven experience in national account management or commercial roles – Demonstrated success managing retail accounts.
* Strong Commercial Acumen and Financial Capability – Comfortable managing account performance, forecasting and shaping strategic JBPs.

* Familiarity with the UK retail landscape – Experience working with UK retailers; value channel exposure is beneficial, though not essential.
* Collaborative cross-functional mindset – Comfortable working across departments like Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance to drive aligned outcomes.
* Organised, adaptable and self-motivated – Able to manage multiple priorities and work proactively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
