My client has been established for over 40 years and is about to embark in their next stage of growth and diversifying the business. These are exciting times for the business, currently a chain of 3 restaurants based in Cardiff with plans of launching new products for supermarkets. My client is looking for an experienced Financial Controller in the leisure and restaurant business to assist them in order to grow the business.
As a hands-on Financial Controller in the restaurant business, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial aspects of the operation and the next stages of its growth. You will be responsible for the finance and accounts of 3 restaurants and the future revenue streams coming into the group.
Responsibilities
Weekly reporting preparation:
* Prepare the weekly overview reports for the 3 restaurants.
* Presenting the reports in the weekly meetings
* Liaising with restaurant managers in the matters of daily takings, cashing up, timesheets and payroll documentation
* Organising training for restaurant managers and supervisors
* Manage cash flow to ensure the restaurant has sufficient funds for daily operations.
* Oversee the handling of cash and ensure proper controls are in place
