Overview
We are currently recruiting a shift engineer to join a well‑established, high‑volume manufacturing site undergoing significant investment and upgrade projects.

FMCG / High‑Speed Manufacturing
Working in a structured shift team, you'll play a key role in maintaining and improving a complex, fast‑paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Electrical and mechanical fault finding, diagnosis, and problem solving
* Maintenance and support across high‑speed production and processing equipment
* Work on a wide range of machinery including:
* Filling, capping, palletising, conveyors, robotics and automation systems
* Processing equipment (mixers, hoppers, liquid systems, pasteuriser, homogeniser)
* Site services, utilities, refrigeration and treatment plant
* PLC and SCADA fault finding
* Support ongoing site‑wide upgrade and capital project work
* Participate in a weekend on‑call rota
What We're Looking For
* Multi‑skilled engineer (electrical bias)
* Background in FMCG, packaging, or similar high‑speed manufacturing environments
* Strong fault finding and problem‑solving capability including PLC fault finding
* Open to candidates from military/forces engineering backgrounds
Desirable
* Experience with project work or site upgrades
* Fabrication, welding, or machining skills
Additional Information
* Weekend on‑call rota (currently 1 in 4)
* Standby payment + minimum 4 hours paid per call‑out
* Significant investment and long‑term project pipeline over the next 5 years
