Vehicle Technician at Family-Run Car Dealership in Gravesend, Kent
1. Salary: £32,000 - £40,000 Basic (DOE) + £5,000 Bonuses
2. Hours: 8am - 5.30pm Monday - Friday with Saturday mornings on a rota

Our client is a well-established, family-run car dealership in Gravesend, Kent, dedicated to providing top-quality vehicles and exceptional customer service. With a strong focus on fostering a supportive team environment, they are now seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their workshop team and contribute to their ongoing success.
Responsibilities of a Vehicle Technician with Our Client:
3. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, ensuring high-quality workmanship
4. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment
5. Conduct vehicle inspections and identify any safety or maintenance concerns
6. Complete service and repair tasks efficiently and within specified timeframes
7. Maintain accurate records of all work performed and parts used
8. Uphold our commitment to customer satisfaction by delivering excellent service at all times
9. Preferably an MOT Tester, but not essential
Requirements for the Vehicle Technician Role:
10. Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician or in a similar role
11. Qualified to Level 2 NVQ or City & Guilds in light vehicle mechanics
12. Strong mechanical aptitude and technical skills
13. Preferably possess an MOT license, but it’s not essential (training can be provided)
14. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
15. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
16. Valid UK driver’s license
