About Brickflow
Brickflow is on a mission to transform the property finance industry, a sector still running on spreadsheets, PDFs, and outdated systems. We’ve already built a proven business model helping developers and brokers access property finance faster and smarter. Now we’re scaling up and bringing engineering in-house to build the next generation of our platform.
We’re a small but ambitious team with big plans. You’ll be joining at the start of an exciting new chapter - turning our learnings into a new cohesive and streamlined experience across multiple platforms, as well as helping us explore some exciting new opportunities in the sector.
About the Position:
Our tech is currently outsourced to a team based in the UK, alongside our new in-house Head of Technology and Product Executive. We’re looking to grow by bringing on 1-2 software engineers to compliment the outsourced team and are aiming to continue to grow internally throughout 2026.
As one of our first engineering hires, you'll be fully empowered to steer technical decisions that influence the entire stack, challenge the product direction, and have creative freedom to try new things. Partner closely with a seasoned technical leader to tackle interesting challenges in an industry ripe with opportunities for innovation. Your contributions will be visible, valued, and essential to the future of the business.
You’ll work closely with product and leadership to:
* Rebuild and modernise parts of our platform as we transition from an AngularJS prototype to React and .NET 9
* Build internal tooling to help the team be more efficient in their daily work
* Influence architectural decisions and help set engineering standards
* Identify opportunities to innovate in a space that’s crying out for smarter technology
* Develop the infrastructure to ensure we are building and releasing continuously and safely
* Develop the data pipeline so we can make data driven decisions
You’ll have freedom to try new ideas, use modern tools, and contribute to shaping what “great” looks like for engineering at Brickflow.

* Frontend: React (new), AngularJS (legacy)

* Database: SQL Server (migrating to Postgres)
* Infrastructure: AWS
* Tooling: Github Actions

Who We’re Looking For
You might be a great fit if you:
* Have 3+ years of professional software development experience (full stack or backend)
* Have built and shipped real products end-to-end
* Thrive in small teams and love working autonomously
* Enjoy solving problems and experimenting with new approaches
* Are excited by the idea of bringing modern engineering practices to an industry that desperately needs them
You don’t need to have any knowledge of property finance, you will learn what you need to know on the job. We’re looking for someone who cares about building great software, has a desire to learn and try new things, and wants their work to make a tangible difference.
