We are seeking a highly professional front of house receptionist for a temporary role running for around 2 months in the centre of Edinburgh. Working in lovely premises, you need to be extremely articulate and provide an excellent first impression to all visitors. You need to be available immediately and able to commit for at least 2 months.
Job Profile
As a Temporary Front of House Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for all clients and visitors, delivering exceptional client service.
Responsibilities:
* Answering phone calls and responding appropriately to the caller’s needs.
* Acting as the first point of contact for all clients and visitors, ensuring everyone is treated in a friendly and appropriate manner.
* Maintaining security for the building by providing passes to visitors and ensuring all sign in on arrival and out when they leave the building.
* Supervising the meeting booking system and overseeing the housekeeping of meeting rooms.
* Provision of refreshments, and ordering of onsite lunches as required.
* Printing, copying, mailing of documentation, and the sorting/distribution of mail.
* Coordinating essential business facilities (including maintenance, archiving, and security) and ensuring that appropriate stocks of stationery and housekeeping supplies are maintained.
Experience, skills set and/or qualifications required:
* Confident, people-centric, highly-organised, and enthusiastic, you will go the extra mile to create a welcoming environment.
* You will support as Front of House receptionist with a diverse range of duties, working both autonomously and collaboratively with colleagues across the team to provide a seamless, professional, and memorable service.
Hours: 40 hours per week Mon to Fri.
Salary: £12.21 per hour
