Schneider Geospatial is looking for a Product Support Specialist to join our SaaS Support team! In this role, you’ll help keep our applications running smoothly for local governments across the country. You’ll be part tech troubleshooter, part customer champion — helping clients solve problems, understand our tools, and get the most out of the technology they rely on every day. About the Role As a member of our support team, you’ll serve as a front-line resource for clients using our desktop and SaaS applications. That means responding to questions, troubleshooting issues, and helping customers get back up and running as quickly as possible. No two days look exactly the same. What You’ll Do Troubleshoot client issues related to software, systems, and integrations Respond to client requests via phone and email Remotely connect to client systems to investigate and resolve issues Diagnose and resolve data connection and ETL-related problems Document support cases and solutions clearly Manage multiple support cases and priorities at once Work closely with teammates to solve complex technical challenges Build and maintain knowledge base articles to enable better, more efficient and repeatable solutions to support cases What We’re Looking For We’re looking for someone who is curious, collaborative, and excited to learn. You don’t need to know everything on day one — but you should enjoy digging into problems and figuring things out. Required Skills Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills Ability to read and write SQL statements (e.g., queries, indexes, views) Ability to read and modify HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Ability to write simple Python scripts Ability to navigate Windows OS and perform basic system administration tasks (e.g., services, credentials, software installation and configuration) Ability to juggle multiple priorities and support cases Clear written and verbal communication skills Experience working in small teams with an entrepreneurial attitude Friendly, professional communication with clients Strong desire to successfully and enthusiastically support software that is being used to solve customer problems Bonus Skills Experience working with local government systems Familiarity with GIS technologies such as ESRI ArcGIS Experience with property tax, CAMA, or appraisal systems Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, GIS, Management Information Systems, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience Around 2 years of relevant work experience About Schneider Geospatial At Schneider Geospatial, we build data-driven geospatial technology used by governments across the country.
