We are now recruiting for a Neighbourhood Officer to join an established housing provider in Manchester.
This is a full-time position with 37 hours a week, with hybrid work available. The role is on a temporary basis, covering leave for a minimum term of 3 months.
We are offering competitive hourly rates, ranging from £17.60 to £21.30 and the option to be paid PAYE or Umbrella.
Your new role
* Minimise letting times and reduce rent losses through proactive tenancy management.
* Conduct regular inspections of estates and blocks to ensure safety and cleanliness.
* Take swift action to address environmental issues and maintain well-kept communal areas.
* Carry out routine tenancy visits to assess support needs and verify property conditions.
* Identify and resolve issues related to damp, mould, and condensation.
* Investigate and address tenancy fraud, under-occupation, and breaches of tenancy conditions.
* Ensure full compliance with tenancy agreements and housing policies.
What you'll need to succeed
1. Experience in a similar Neighbourhood/Housing role within Social Housing.
2. Experience in investigating and responding to cases of low to medium level ASB.
