Streamline Recruitment are working with a well-established terminal operator based in Tilbury, known for providing high-quality handling, storage, and distribution services to clients across various sectors.
They’re now looking for a Finance Assistant to join their team — ideal for someone with a good eye for detail and a solid grounding in finance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Accurately input and manage both purchase and sales invoices in a timely manner
* Help prepare financial information for month-end and year-end reporting cycles
* Keep financial systems up to date by maintaining ledgers and related records
* Oversee petty cash handling and process employee expense submissions
* Assist with payroll tasks and ensure associated documents are properly maintained
* Communicate with suppliers and internal teams to clarify and resolve any invoice discrepancies
* Deliver day-to-day administrative support across the finance department
Key Skills & Competencies:
* Confident using accounting software e.g. Sage, QuickBooks, Xero
* AAT Level 2 qualified or working towards
* Prior experience in a finance/account’s role
* Good understanding of basic accounting principle
