About the role
We have a new and exciting opportunity for a Charity Shop Manager to join our dynamic fun team at our charity shop in Heavitree. You will lead on maximising public awareness of the impactful work we do as a charity and raising funds through retail sales, adhering to the retail strategy and embracing growth opportunities. This is a rewarding role where the successful person will be responsible for all aspects of running a busy third-sector retail business. You will be leading a dedicated team consisting of shop assistants and volunteers to achieve and exceed business targets for sales, growth and profits. Ensuring that the highest level of customer service is consistently achieved with a fun and welcoming environment.
About you
We’re looking for someone who is self-motivated, commercially aware with a creative eye for displays, and constantly seeking new business opportunities. You will have excellent interpersonal, communication and customer care skills and be a person who motivates their team and creates a safe and energetic working environment.
Previous experience in retail and/or customer service environment is required with good problem-solving ability and great attention to detail.
Working pattern
37.5 hours per week, 5 days per week (working days to be discussed during interview).
