Job Title:Clinical CoderLocation:BoltonJob Summary:Our client is seeking a Clinical Coder to join their wonderful Coding team, part of the Informatics Directorate. * Analyse and extract diagnostic and procedural information from electronic patient records, case notes, and other systems.
* Assign appropriate codes using ICD-10 and OPCS classifications.
* Provide accurate data for local and national comparative/planning purposes, Clinical Governance, and Finance.
* Ensure timely and accurate clinical coding in accordance with national standards.
* Mentor Trainee Clinical Coders and support their development.
* Collaborate with colleagues across disciplines to enhance data recording and analysis.
Qualifications:
* National Clinical Coding Qualification (ACC).
* Experience in an NHS clinical coding setting.
* Strong understanding of ICD-10 and OPCS4 classifications and national clinical coding standards.
Skills:
* Highly organised with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to develop effective working relationships across all levels.
* Attention to detail and a genuine interest in data recording and analysis.
