Base pay range
Sterlings is currently partnered with a Wealth Management Company seeking an Application Support Team Lead. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of technical specialists across a range of vendor and internally developed financial applications.
The team lead will prioritize and deliver incident and project work, lead detailed technical analysis, and resolve major incidents.
The role also involves ensuring all SLAs, SLOs, and KPIs are met, resolving breaches, and working with the Application Support Manager to produce monthly reports on team targets.
This person will act as the escalation point for major issues, chair Major Incident bridge calls, manage stakeholder communication, conduct root-cause analysis, and provide postmortem reports and resolution strategies.
Requirements
* Experience leading support teams within Financial Services, ideally with knowledge of trading and middle office operations.
* People management experience and ability to future-proof the team.
* Dynamic, with integrity and passion.

* Growth mindset and forward-thinking approach.
* Ability to improve and streamline processes and procedures.
* Technical skills in SQL, SSRS, PowerShell, Azure are highly beneficial.
