We have an excellent opportunity for a female support worker to work alongside our client in Merthyr Tydfil, County Borough.
Our client is a young man in his 20s who has complex needs, including cerebral palsy, epilepsy, and mobility issues. He lives at home with his mum, her partner, and the client's dog. He enjoys an active social life with his friends and attends church.
Due to the client’s support needs, the successful candidate will need to be female, have some experience working with complex needs, hold a full UK driving licence, and possess the softer skills of being a clear communicator with the motivation and ability to engage the client to build a solid, supporting relationship.
Pay: £14.70 per hour
Hours: Full or part-time - up to 40 per week (12 or 24-hour shifts with sleeping nights, required seven days a week)
Key Responsibilities:

* Supporting and engaging with personalized routines, including hoists.
* Completing daily living activities, such as personal hygiene and mobility.

* Providing emotional support and companionship.
* Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any changes in clients’ conditions.
* Collaborating with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care.
