About the Role As a Lead Data Engineer, you will drive the strategic development of data engineering solutions, focusing on ETL processes, data migration, and the development of diverse data products. This hybrid position requires on-site presence three days per week. Key Responsibilities Lead the design, development, and implementation of ETL pipelines and data integration solutions. This role is a 60% hands on (Technical Leadership/Code Reviews/Actual Coding) and 40% management (Stand Up's/One to One's/Management Meetings) focused role. Manage and deliver large-scale, data-driven projects, ensuring efficiency, quality, and scalability. Develop and oversee data architectures, ensuring the seamless integration of structured and unstructured data sources. Utilize Talend, Python, and No-SQL technologies to design and optimize data solutions. Partner with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into actionable deliverables. Mentor and lead a team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration. Drive best practices for data engineering, ensuring quality and operational excellence. Collaborate with Agile teams to deliver high-impact projects aligned with business priorities. Your Background Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field. 10 years of experience in data engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Strong expertise in ETL tools such as Talend and programming with Python. Proven experience working with No-SQL databases and diverse data products. Knowledge of data migrations, real-time data processing, and relational database design. Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and microservices architecture.
