Build Simple Author Website on Strikingly
(Email Capture + Free Book Funnel)
Job Description:
I'm looking for someone to build a clean, professional author website using Strikingly, with the primary goal of collecting visitor email addresses by offering free ebook copies of my books.
This is a straightforward project using Strikingly's templates and built-in tools. No custom coding is needed. I've personally built WordPress membership websites, so I'm familiar with how these systems work—but I don't currently have the time to build this one myself.
The focus of this project is clarity, professionalism, and effective email capture.
Core Goals of the Website:
- Present my books in a clean, organized, professional way
- Clearly separate books by their topic or category
- Give each individual book its own dedicated page or section
- Allow visitors to read the book description and learn about it
- Provide a clear link to the book's Amazon listing
- Provide free ebook copy in exchange for their email address
- Integrate with MailerLite
- Be simple, intuitive, and conversion-focused
- Work well on both desktop and mobile
I currently have 12 books across 4 different topics, and the site structure should make it easy for visitors to browse by topic and explore individual books. I am open to your suggestions on the best way to structure the site to accomplish these goals effectively.

Email platform: MailerLite (already set up)
Currently on free plan, but will upgrade to paid for custom domain and full features
Scope of Work:
- Build and design the site using Strikingly
- Organize and present the books appropriately
- Create individual book pages or sections
- Integrate MailerLite email signup forms and delivery
- Upload book covers, descriptions, and links
- Ensure clean layout and good user experience
- Optimize for email signup conversions
- No coding required.
