Operational Trainer
Crick, Northamptonshire | Full-time, Permanent | Day Shift (Monday-Friday, 08:30-17:00)
The Opportunity
We're looking for a proactive and organised Operational Trainer to join our Crick site on the day shift. In this role, you'll support colleagues across our production areas by delivering high-quality training, onboarding new starters, maintaining accurate training records, and helping to build capability across the site.

What You'll Be Doing
* Conducting capability assessments and confirming competency across production roles.
* Delivering hands-on training to colleagues who require additional development.
* Working closely with Area Managers, ASLs and Team Leaders to identify skills gaps and training needs.
* Maintaining and updating skills matrices and training records to audit-ready standards.
* Supporting the creation, review and delivery of standard operating procedures (SOPs).
* Providing refresher training and ensuring ongoing compliance with operational standards.
* Assisting with new process introductions, trials and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Evaluating training effectiveness and adapting plans based on colleague performance and feedback.
About You
* Experience in training, coaching or buddying within a manufacturing or production environment.
* Good understanding of production processes with a passion for quality and development.
* Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work at pace.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
* A 'Train the Trainer' and/or Assessor qualification (or willingness to work towards one).
* Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to continuous improvement.
