SUMMARY: Makes and services a wide variety of secured and unsecured loans or lines of credit.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
· Develop new business through sales calls to customers and non-customers, record and track each call.
· Monitor loan portfolio compliance with policy.
· Manage assigned loan portfolio.
· Administer to work out accounts and problem loans.
· Assist in training of junior lending officers.
· Maintain a working knowledge of the Bank’s written policies and procedures regarding the Bank Secrecy Act and other applicable anti-money laundering policies.
· Ensure all actions performed are in compliance with government regulations and organizational policies and procedures.
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES/EXPERIENCE
· Position normally requires a Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent to provide basic familiarity with a variety of subjects such as: finance, economics, English, business law, marketing, statistics, etc.
· Over six and up to 10 years of experience.
· Excellent PC skills with knowledge of Word, EXCEL and other applicable computer programs.
· Excellent oral and written communication skills.
· Must have (or obtain during the first 30 days of employment) a valid NMLS number.
· Must complete annual mandatory SAFE Act training through Regulatory University.
· Insurance license.
WORKING CONDITIONS
· Normal office conditions.
