We are working with a high-growth, private equity-backed professional financial services firm entering an exciting phase of expansion across the South East and London.
As part of this growth, a newly created Business Development Manager role has been established within the firms central Growth team. This is a rare opportunity to work closely with senior leadership, including the Chief Growth Officer, to drive new client acquisition and play a key role in scaling the business.
This is not a traditional BD role it offers genuine scope to influence strategy, build long-term client relationships and contribute directly to the firms ambitious growth journey.
The Role
Working as part of a dedicated Growth function, you will be responsible for identifying, developing and converting new business opportunities across targeted sectors.
Key responsibilities include:
* Developing and executing lead generation strategies in collaboration with marketing
* Identifying and engaging prospective clients across key markets
* Building and nurturing relationships with clients, introducers and industry contacts
* Working closely with Partners to convert opportunities into long-term client relationships
* Supporting the sales process with insight, materials and coordination
* Managing and maintaining a structured pipeline through CRM systems
* Aligning outreach activity with wider marketing campaigns
* Achieving and exceeding agreed business development targets
About You
We are looking for a commercially driven and relationship-focused individual who thrives in a growth environment.
You will have:
* Proven experience in B2B sales or business development
* Ideally experience within professional services, finance or a consultative sales environment
* Strong prospecting and pipeline-building capability
* Excellent communication and relationship management skills
* The ability to understand and articulate complex client needs
* Strong organisational and project management skills
* Experience using CRM systems to manage sales activity

Additional Information
* Full-time, Monday to Friday (9:00am 5:30pm)
* Competitive salary dependent on experience
