Job Description
We are looking for experienced Cost Managers (all levels up to Project Director) with a minimum of 5 years' NEC4 experience to support our exciting growth plans, working with our key infrastructure water client in the East Midlands/Cambridgeshire/Peterborough areas, supporting the successful delivery of their capital projects and programmes of work. Ideally you will already have NEC4 PM accreditation or be willing to undertake the accreditation training. You will be joining an established team of like-minded experts that have a passion for innovation and delivering cutting edge solutions.
As a Cost Manager within our Buildings & Places Infrastructure team, you will provide a comprehensive, accurate and value driven service for large, high profile and exciting key clients in multiple sectors.
Here's what you'll do:
* Deliver all aspects of cost management from inception of a project through to completion, including feasibility estimates, cost planning, contract procurement, tender documentation, value engineering, risk management, dispute resolution, and agreement of final accounts.
* Achieve the highest standards of professional competence and demonstrate this ability in all dealings with clients and professional contacts.
* Drive performance standards and technical excellence through expert communication and effective use of the performance management process and AECOM technical practice networks.
* Maintain and develop good relationships with clients, taking every opportunity to uphold and increase the profile of the firm as a premium quality service provider.
* Support the internal team and manage more junior staff on technically complex projects.
* Develop marketing opportunities and bring to the attention of Directors and the Business Development Department.

Qualifications

Here's what we're looking for:
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in the Cost Management/Quantity Surveying field, ideally on large scale infrastructure projects.
* NEC4 Project Management Accreditation or willingness to undertake the accreditation training.
* Experience in cost/commercial management as part of integrated, multi-organisation teams.
* Experience of working within a client organisation would be beneficial.
* Ability to identify and influence key client stakeholders.
* Degree in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent).
* Accredited MRICS (or working towards membership).
