Role Overview The school is seeking an experienced and empathetic Pastoral Manager to join the pastoral leadership team. The successful candidate will support students across a designated year group, ensuring that pastoral systems operate effectively and that students receive the support required to succeed. This role requires someone who can build positive relationships with students while working collaboratively with teachers, families and external support services. Key Responsibilities • Lead pastoral support for a designated year group • Monitor student behaviour, wellbeing and attendance • Support students experiencing social, emotional or behavioural challenges • Work closely with Heads of Year and senior leaders to maintain high standards of conduct • Liaise with parents and guardians regarding pastoral concerns • Coordinate support plans for students requiring additional guidance • Contribute to safeguarding procedures and documentation • Promote positive behaviour and school values • Support the reintegration of students returning from absence or external support programmes • Coordinate interventions designed to support student wellbeing • Maintain accurate pastoral records • Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to ensure student success Candidate Profile The school is seeking a professional who is passionate about supporting young people and helping them succeed.
