About the Role
At Aristocrat, we strive to build world-class gaming experiences, and we are looking for a dedicated Senior Frontend Game Developer to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in crafting the player experience across multiple platforms, ensuring flawless execution and performance. Your innovative ideas and technical expertise will play a key role in delivering ambitious and compelling game features. By collaborating closely with designers, artists, producers, and fellow engineers, you will help us push the boundaries of what's possible in gaming. Your contributions will have a direct impact on the success of our games and the happiness we bring to our players!
What You'll Do
1. Develop and implement new features across iOS, Android, and Web platforms using JavaScript, improving our social and gameplay features.
2. Collaborate in a cross-functional team, co-owning feature development from concept to analysis, release, and monitoring.
3. Profile and optimize performance improvements to ensure a smooth, responsive player experience.
4. Build and document flexible, reusable, and extendable solutions that contribute to the overall architecture.
5. Partner creatively with designers, artists, and producers to turn concepts into compelling game features.
6. Foster growth and learning within an agile engineering team, embracing diverse perspectives.
7. Proactively seek and drive innovative methods in feature delivery.
What We're Looking For
Must-Have:
8. in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
9. 4+ years of professional experience in software development.
10. 3+ years of proficiency in JavaScript.
11. Experience with the entire development life-cycle from gathering requirements to launching features.
12. Diligent, motivated self-starter eager to contribute impactful game features.
13. Excellent critical thinker and creative problem-solver with demonstrated analytical skills.
14. Passionate about game development with strong player empathy.
Nice-to-Have:
15. 1+ year PHP development experience.
16. Mobile development experience (iOS and/or Android).
17. Knowledge of Games as a Service (GaaS) concepts.
18. Understanding of Client-server architecture.
19. Experience with asset management and asynchronous coding.
