Business Partner Lead – People & Culture
Consortium Professional Recruitment is partnering exclusively with a well-established and reputable business that is a leader in its field. This is a standalone position reporting directly to the MD and working as part of the senior management team. It is a key role within the business, responsible for delivering strategic and operational HR. The successful candidate will provide a solutions-focused approach, demonstrate strong relationship-building skills, and manage day-to-day HR operations.
The ideal candidate will be process-driven, experienced in a generalist HR role, with expertise in recruitment and training. Previous experience in an SME environment, particularly in an independent senior HR role, would be advantageous.

The Role
* Providing professional advice and guidance on all HR policies and practices
* Updating and maintaining the employee handbook
* Leading and managing all Employee Relations across the business
* Offering coaching and advice to managers on HR issues
* Partnering with managers to support recruitment and selection processes
* Collaborating with recruitment partners to meet hiring needs
* Managing the company's Corporate Social Responsibility program
* Leading the annual performance review process
* Driving Staff IntraNet and internal communications
* Leading HR projects focused on wellbeing and mental health
* Initiating employee recognition and celebrating successes
* Planning annual team-building events
* Identifying training needs and skills gaps across the organization
* Managing onboarding and induction processes
* Overseeing exit interviews and providing feedback to Directors
* Participating in project design and implementation aligned with strategic goals
The Candidate
* Proven experience in a senior HR role
* Experience within an SME, ideally in a standalone capacity
* Comprehensive generalist HR background, including recruitment and training
* Positive, professional, and confident approach
* Ability to work autonomously with a varied workload
* Capability to contribute effectively as part of the SMT
* Passion to make a difference
* CIPD Level 5 qualification
