**Job Description:**
I'm looking for a talented and detail-oriented Shopify designer/developer to build a beautiful, elevated e-commerce website for my handmade rug business, Oushak & Oak. This brand is focused on heirloom-quality Turkish and Modern Oushak rugs, natural fibers, and timeless interiors. The website should feel warm, refined, and high-end — similar in aesthetic to luxury interior textile brands.
This is more than just setting up a template. I want someone who understands branding, layout, storytelling, and customer experience.
Oushak & Oak is inspired by old-world craftsmanship and Southern homes. The brand began when I sourced a special rug for my daughter's nursery and grew into a curated rug collection for real life. My audience is primarily homeowners, interior designers, and women who love classic, layered interiors.

• Shopify website setup and customization
• Help selecting or customizing a theme (currently considering Horizon, Dawn, Atelier, or Prestige)
• Homepage design with strong brand storytelling
• Collection and product page layout
• Mobile optimization
• Navigation and user experience
• Logo placement and header design
• Integration of Instagram and social proof
• Setup for future "made-to-order" rug options
• Basic SEO and speed optimization
• Email signup and marketing integration
• Trade/designer customer pathway (trade pricing or login area in the future)

Ideal Candidate:
• Experience designing luxury or interior-focused Shopify stores
• Strong eye for aesthetics and clean, timeless design
• Familiarity with home decor, rugs, or interior design brands
• Ability to guide on best practices and user flow
• Good communication and collaborative mindset

• Experience with high-end product storytelling
• Knowledge of Shopify apps and conversion optimization
• Experience setting up trade programs
• Copywriting or brand messaging experience
