Are you a passionate veterinary surgeon seeking a fulfilling career with a supportive and friendly team? Town and Country Vets invites you to join us across our three well-equipped practices in Blackburn, Clayton-le-Moors, and Whalley.
What You'll Do
You'll enjoy a varied role combining consultations and surgeries, managing patient care from start to finish, including some sole charge duties. This is your chance to make a real impact-building trusted relationships with both clients and their pets.
Flexible Working to Fit Your Life
We appreciate the importance of work-life balance. Whether you prefer a set schedule or a flexible pattern, we're happy to tailor arrangements to suit your lifestyle. Our full-time vets typically work four full days per week, have a weekday off, and join a Saturday rota (1 in 4/5 Saturdays) with a day off in lieu.
Best of all? No out-of-hours or bank holiday shifts-helping you maintain a healthy work-life harmony. Part-time options are also welcome for the right candidate.

"Town and Country is a great place to work. You'll find a friendly and helpful bunch, with support from vets, nurses, reception, and management alike. Several staff have been with us for decades-some trained here and stayed, the longest being 30 years! I started on reception in 2006 and, after a short break, happily returned as Practice Manager in 2023. The team welcomed me back with open arms-it truly feels like family here."
- Joanne Dolan, Practice Manager
