We are looking for a proactive and adaptable Field Maintenance Engineer to join our Agriculture Estates team. This is a multi-skilled position with a strong mechanical focus, ideally suited to someone who enjoys variety, thrives in outdoor environments, and can confidently maintain and repair a diverse range of agricultural and estate-based assets. You will work across our estate locations carrying out planned preventive maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and supporting with electrical work where qualified. The role involves working independently, liaising with estate maintenance coordinators, and ensuring equipment and facilities remain safe, compliant and fully operational. Key Responsibilities: Conduct mechanical maintenance, fault finding and repairs on agricultural machinery, buildings, equipment and estate infrastructure. Deliver PPM schedules to minimise downtime and ensure operational readiness. Support with electrical testing, repairs, and installations in line with certification and competency. Diagnose breakdowns efficiently and implement effective solutions. Carry out maintenance on estate buildings and poultry farms/sheds. Maintain accurate service records and ensure all work complies with relevant H&S legislation. Work flexibly across multiple estate sites, responding to urgent issues when required. Collaborate with the Maintenance Coordinators and other engineers, contractors, and estate management to deliver a high-quality and reliable service About You: Essential: Proven experience as a multi-skilled engineer or technician with a mechanical bias. Recognised electrical certification (e.g., 18th Edition, ECS, or equivalent) or relevant electrical experience. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills. Experience working with agricultural (Poultry) or heavy plant machinery, estate equipment, or similar environments. Ability to work independently across varied field-based locations. Full UK driving licence. Desirable: Experience in estates, agriculture, manufacturing, or industrial maintenance. Hours of Work: 46.25 hours per week - working Monday to Friday. 07.30am to 17.15pm and you will be entitled to a half hour break daily. The MSE is also required to provide on call over Monday to Sunday days/evenings on a rotational basis shared with other Estate Engineers.
