Overview

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with children as a Midday Assistant to join us as we strive to become one of the leading primary schools in the country.
Duties
* Supervision of children in the playground.
* Encouraging the children to eat their meal in the dining hall.
* Ensuring hygiene standards are met.
* Working as a team, because we believe that together we thrive.
* Having the ability to work calmly with any incidents which may arise, including assisting with basic first aid.
Qualifications & Skills
The role requires strong organisational skills to manage playground games and the ability to build positive relationships with children and adults. A basic understanding of child development, safeguarding, health and safety, and first aid is essential. You should effectively manage pupil behaviour, demonstrate a caring and professional attitude, and maintain confidentiality. You must be able to work independently or as part of a team, using initiative when needed. Reliability, punctuality, and flexibility are important, along with a willingness to take on additional duties. Previous experience working with children is desirable.
