Position Details
• Fixed term/secondment for 24 months
Responsibilities
• Lead and support innovation and quality improvement projects within the Clinical Governance & Quality team.
• Develop and manage a local pipeline of innovation & QI projects that align with NHS Borders organisational priorities.
• Collaborate with the regional Health Innovation South East Scotland (HISES) team to deliver regional and national innovation initiatives.
• Provide project management oversight, including planning, monitoring, and reporting progress and outcomes.
• Engage stakeholders across the organisation to secure buy‑in and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Experience
• Proven experience in project management, preferably in healthcare or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and evaluate quality improvement initiatives.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with evidence of measuring impact and driving change.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
• Familiarity with NHS quality frameworks and governance structures is an advantage.
Legal and Eligibility Requirements
• Applicant must have, or be able to obtain, the right to work in the United Kingdom.
• For regulated roles, the relevant criminal records check may be required; facilities are in place for Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) assessment if necessary.
