Job Opportunity: Casual Scout in Leeds
We currently have an opportunity for casual scouts in the Leeds area. This role is ideal for driven individuals who thrive on challenges and are eager to succeed in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
The casual scout will work approximately 0 hours per week, including weekends and evenings, supporting the identification and assessment of young players with potential to join LUFC Academy within the Foundation & Youth Phases. Candidates must be flexible and adaptable to varying seasonal work patterns, including three out of four weekends per month.
Hours: 0 hours per week
Salary: £15 per hour

Main Responsibilities
1. Support the Head of Local 7-14 Recruitment in identifying and assessing young players aged 7-14 in local football, including grassroots, schools, private academies, and tournaments throughout the year.
2. Develop and maintain an in-depth database of local players within the assigned catchment areas.
3. Scout and identify talent within your sector.
4. Provide written performance reports from live games to aid decision-making.
5. Build internal knowledge of current LUFC Academy players.
6. Contribute to projects and attend CPD/meetings as directed.
7. Promote a positive image of LUFC among parents, grassroots coaches, and clubs within your region.
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Experience
* Experience in grassroots football scouting.
* FA Level 1 Talent Identification certification.
* Proficiency with technology supporting talent identification.
* Network and contacts within local and school football.
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
